from CLEARING OUT THE FREEZER TO CHANGING LIVES

It all began in 2018 when founder Lex decided it was time to finally clear out the freezer. What started as a simple clean-out quickly turned into a full-blown feast, his brothers and a close group of friends came together to prepare an unforgettable spread of surf, slow-cooked meats, and exotic wild game.

That day sparked a tradition.

What was once a casual gathering among friends became an annual celebration centered around great food, community, and togetherness. With each passing year, the event continued to grow; more people, more food, more impact. Until it officially evolved into what is now known as National Meat Day.

What started as a meal among friends has transformed into a powerful fundraiser supporting underprivileged children and the Catholic mission, proving that something as simple as sharing a table can turn into something truly meaningful.
